NamasteGatiShakti National Master Plan: Integration of 16 ministries:
Three_Year Anniversary: On October 13, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the third anniversary of the GatiShakti National Master Plan. He highlighted its transformative impact on India’s infrastructure, driving faster and more efficient development across sectors.
District-Level Planning: The initiative will be used for district-level planning, with a pilot project underway aiming to launch the master plan before the end of 2024
Involvement: The plan will be open for use by private players for better planning and cost optimization
Achievements: The plan has significantly enhanced multimodal connectivity, boosting logistics, reducing delays, and improving service delivery
Global Expansion: The PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan will soon extend to international infrastructure projects. Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with Nepal and Sri_Lanka have already been planned for the rollout of infrastructure projects using Gati Shakti
