Sharrp Ventures and Re Sustainability have launched a major plastic recycling project.
The project aims to process 32,000 tonnes of waste annually.
It will be implemented in Hyderabad, Telangana, and Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The initiative aims to produce over 9,000 tonnes of high-quality recycled polymers each year.
The recycled polymers will be used primarily by the FMCG sector.
The project is expected to reduce 15,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
It will create direct and indirect employment opportunities, with a focus on employing women.
