Men’s Day_was_Yesterday… And Almost No One Noticed ✨

Yesterday was International Men’s Day… and it slipped by almost silently.
Most people around me didn’t even realise it.
And when they finally did, there was no warmth, no spark, no conversation.
And it made me pause.
So I asked myself a simple question:
Why does a day meant for half the world feel so invisible?
Here’s the truth simply put.
WHY is Men’s Day ignored?
a. We assume men will always manage.
b. Their silence gets mistaken for strength.
c. There’s no noise, no marketing, no campaigns.
d. Men themselves rarely voice their emotional needs.
WHO is Men’s Day really for?
a. Men who wake up every day carrying responsibilities we don’t always see.
b. Men who remain strong even with tired hearts.
c. Men who support everyone but rarely ask for support back.
d. Men who hold everything together quietly.
For all our men who take it in… quietly, silently, without ever letting the world see the weight.
WHAT is Men’s Day supposed to highlight?
a. Men’s mental health
b. Positive male role models
c. Fatherhood & caregiving
d. Gender balance
e. The global theme ZeroMaleSuicide
This day is not about celebration.
It’s about recognition.
WHEN did Men’s Day lose its importance?
a. When society normalised men’s emotional invisibility.
b. When we praised their strength more than their humanity.
c. When they stopped sharing because no one listened long enough.
d. When their struggles became “expected.
WHERE does the silence come from?
a. Homes where boys were told not to cry.
b. Workplaces where burnout in men is treated as normal.
c. Relationships where men feel they must be the steady one.
d. A world that applauds their strength but overlooks their strain.
HOW do we make Men’s Day meaningful?
a. Notice them genuinely.
b. Ask: “Are you okay?” and mean it.
c. Normalise emotional expression for men.
d. Appreciate them without waiting for a reason.
e. Create space where men can be human, not heroic.

I just feel we owe the men in our lives more presence, more softness, more acknowledgment.
They won’t ask for it which is exactly why they need it.
If Men’s Day went by quietly this year, maybe we can make next year warmer.
A message.
A check-in.
A simple: “I see you.
Because celebrations don’t always need noise.
Sometimes they just need awareness and a little heart.
Men will be men… and sometimes they just need to hear that we see them.” Dr. Anju Sharma
