It’s a shortage of courage to choose differently. ❞

❓ WHYFinder: Ask Before You Applaud the Slide Deck

🤔 WhyIsYourBoardStill70:30?

✔️ Promotions reward resemblance, not results
✔️ Leadership is still coded: Aggression = Drive (if male), Threat (if female)
✔️ Flexibility equals career slowdown
✔️ Parenthood is a pause—for women only
✔️ GolfInvites go out. So do women.

> 🎯 “SheLeft” is often code for: “We made it too hard for her to stay.

🤔 WhyBlameThePipeline?

✔️ Because it’s easier than fixing your succession plan
✔️ Because opt-outs are often push-outs
✔️ Because comfort is easier than change

🤔 WhyDon’tWeTrackExits?

✔️ Because DiversityHiring looks good on slides
✔️ But RetentionAndPromotion need uncomfortable questions
✔️ And that means someone has to own the imbalance

A_New_Chapter – Certified Independent Director!

Some journeys change you, and this one surely did! After three months of rigorous learning, thought-provoking discussions, and countless weekend deep dives, I am incredibly proud to share that I am now a Certified Independent Director, recognized by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) and from KPMG India’s BoardLeadershipCenter.

This journey was more than just a certification—it was an eye-opener into the intricate world of Corporate Governance, Boardroom Strategy, and Ethical Leadership. Each session challenged my perspective, pushed my boundaries, and reinforced my belief that Business Excellence and Sustainability must go hand in hand.

I am immensely grateful to Ritesh Tiwari and @VijayGogoi, who curated a program rich with insights, real-world case studies, and meaningful discussions. Their mentorship has left an indelible mark on my understanding of what it truly means to be an Independent Director.

A special mention to my Cohort5 peers—what a phenomenal group of professionals! The camaraderie, the shared knowledge, the debates, and the laughter made this journey unforgettable. It is rare to find a group where Intellect meets Passion, and I feel privileged to have been part of it.
